This week was a good week. the Beaver County Fair was going on and they had a rodeo and a demolition derby that was happening on Friday and Saturday. It was a great experience and we met a lot of new people that we’ve never seen before who live in our area. We also got some numbers for some priests and soon to be missionaries so that they can come out and help us with teaching appointments. We will be having a baptism this Friday and another one on the 1st of September. There are a few people that we have to contact to teach, but small towns are hard to work in since no one leaves and they’ve all had missionaries knock on their door before. No matter how bad it can get, there is always work to be done.
I wish for everyone to do their best to be the best examples they can be. Not only members of the church, but all those who aren’t members as well. We should all do our best to follow the Savior’s example and continue to be good and loving to everyone we meet. President John Taylor, 3rd president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints said,
“If you do not magnify your calling, God will hold you responsible for those whom you might have saved, had you done your duty.”
We should all magnify our callings as citizens of this planet and children of our Father in Heaven and help all of our brothers and sisters make the right decisions to help them come closer to our Father and his Son, Jesus Christ.
