Some Unfortunate News . . .
Well… I’m not training anymore… My trainee was a trial missionary and his issues as to why he was on a trial mission were too much for him to bear. I’m a little disappointed that I’m not able to train and due to this problem, I wasn’t in my area for pretty much four days, so we didn’t have the most productive week.
My new companion is Elder Ekstrom from Kennewick, Washington. He’s been out for 7.5 months and just recently came back from a medical release. This week has been hard, full of praying and much thought has been made during this last week.
I’m writing on Tuesday, because yesterday was Martin Luther King Jr. day and the library and seminary building, where we usually do emails here in the Panguitch stake, were closed.
Something very good happened this week too. One of our investigators, Amanda Luke, has given up smoking for good and can now get baptized! Unfortunately, she is in St. George and we won’t be able to meet with her to set up a time for her baptismal interview until she gets back.
Well… there’s not a whole lot that can be said considering I wasn’t in my area for most of the week…
