Well, this starts the time for a new transfer! I’m getting a new companion. I don’t know how to spell his name, so you’ll have to wait until next week to find out who it is. We had a great week this past week. We were able to teach 20 lessons with a member present! One of our fellowshippers, Bryan Jackson, is a 17-year-old young man who is going to the California Arcadia Mission in September. He’s super excited to go and he loves going out with us. He’s going to be a great missionary and he’ll love his service as a missionary.
We have one of our investigators, John, on date for this upcoming Saturday at 1 pm! Him and his younger sister, Mary, are super excited to be baptized. They understand what we’ve taught them and they are willing to live according to the commandments. The three kids we found last week are still excited to learn and a little hesitant to go to church, but over time, that will change as they will see the blessings that come from it and start to feel the truthfulness of the gospel.
“Once we find our purpose, it becomes a lot harder to live to that purpose. All the forces that pull you away converge together to tear you apart. Stay strong, stay mindful. Don’t give up. That purpose is what drives you to an exalted state.” -Guy Seikatsu (Omega’s Game [My Story])
