New Transfer!

I am in Parowan now and my companion, Elder Jackson, is from West Lafayette, Indiana. He’s been out for 4 transfers now and it’s been really good so far. We have a ton of potential investigators that we hope to find this week and next week. We’re having a baptism this month and a couple next month as well! This area is doing well and I’m super excited for this new opportunity to serve.

We had a miracle this week too! One of our investigators was on date for the 31st of August and she wanted to be baptized in the new chapel that they’re building in Parowan. We learned from the Stake President that the new building wouldn’t be ready until the 7th of September. We were pretty bummed about that, but she called us and said that she wanted to be baptized before she had surgery and left for a couple weeks. So she moved her baptismal date back to the 24th of August! She’s alright not being baptized in the new building. She wants the ordinance of baptism performed as soon as she can.

In the Parowan stake, I serve in more small towns. I serve in:
and Paragonah

More small towns to add to my list! All is well here and Elder Jackson and I are ready to work!

Don’t let the temptations of the devil get to you. He may tell you that some things are cool and acceptable, but God has given commandments so we can know for sure right and wrong. He also gave us the Light of Christ to help discern between good and evil.

“There is good and there is evil. Those who commit crimes and those who stop them. The two sides are opposite. As different as day and night and the line between them is clear… Or at least it’s supposed to be.” Robin (Teen Titans)
